So I was just as the midnight release of Assassin's Creed II and Left 4 Dead 2 and all I gotta say is... I fear for humanity.
I certainly don't mean to be one of those people that chucks out the blanket statement that all people or more specifically, gamers, are dumb. But sheesh. Sittin' there in line, I saw the biggest collection of idiots and jerks all in one place. So many people making rude comments about others nearby, thinking as tho they are free to do or say anything, regardless of consequences. Bragging about going home and smoking pot while playing the game, or whatever other stupid things like that.
I guess it just makes me hope that these "kids" (which obviously were out of high school) will grow up someday and realize they've been idiots. I dunno. I guess it just irked me a bit to see so many people like that. And it makes me sad that unfortunately, those are the type of people that usually get stereotyped as gamers, giving one of my favorite pass-times a bad name.
Anyway, now that I'm done ranting, I'm off to play Assassin's Creed II now.
